NY student gets 3 years in prison for eco-crime

A New York college student has been sentenced to three years in prison for trying to firebomb two buildings at a Michigan university in 2001.

Ian Wallace faced a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison when he appeared Monday in federal court in Michigan. (AP)
