U.K. Police Arrest 5 People in Devon Under Anti-Terrorism Law
U.K. police were questioning five people detained under anti-terrorism powers in the southwestern county of Devon.
The five, three men and two women, were arrested in the city of Plymouth under the Terrorism Act, Devon and Cornwall Constabulary said in a statement posted on its Web site.
The first man was arrested on March 27 on suspicion of criminal damage and three others were held, initially for drugs offenses, after his home address was searched, police said. (Bloomberg)
